Overview

The Mardi Himal Trek offers a breathtaking and scenic journey to the base of Mardi Himal, immersing you in stunning views of snow-covered mountains, lush green hills, and untouched forests filled with rhododendron, magnolia, pine, and oak trees.

This trek takes you along high ridgelines, providing uninterrupted panoramas of the Annapurna Himalaya and Dhaulagiri ranges to the west, and the Manaslu range to the east. Dominating the view is the striking South Face of Mt. Machhapuchhre, also known as ‘Fish Tail’, alongside Mardi Himal itself. The Mardi Himal Trek is considered a moderately challenging adventure that generally avoids the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), thanks to its well-paced itinerary designed to allow proper acclimatization and ample time to enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

From High Camp, located at an altitude of 3,700 meters, it takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp. This final stretch rewards trekkers with incredible close-up views of the entire Annapurna Range. Throughout the route, you’ll find simple guesthouses and homestays that provide a warm and comfortable resting place for travelers.

Mardi Himal trek. A wonderful trek ideal even for beginners. Wonderful views, great facilities. Our choice for this trek was through our honeymoon. Seven Summit Treks organized and prepared everything. Sherpa Tashi and porter Nima were great. We could talk, they always prepared everything. I have been in contact with the guys from Seven Summit Treks since the expedition to Makalu and I know that I can rely on them. Thank you for your help and wonderful experience. And see you at the next event.
